In The Land Of The Free

A facinating insite into the story of Herman Wallace, Albert Woodfox and Robert King. They are known as the Angola 3 and have spent almost a century between them in solitary confinement in Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Herman and Albert are still held in solitary confinement after thirty seven years.

The Art of Democracy

From the 6th of March to the 15th April The Bristol Gallery plays host to an exhibition of local and international contemporary art from the likes of Inkie, Felix Braun, Poet Lawrence Hoo, video artist James Reed, and Royal College of Art graduate Taj Dhami, who produces unique installation conceptual pieces. Striking bronze and marble figurative sculpture will also be featured by Ben Dearnley and Iranian artist Seyed Edalatpour. The show aims to encompass the broad spectrum of contemporary artists working with an international perspective, to once again place Bristol at the forefront of all things creative.
